Why gas leak detection? IR Vision performs surveys that detect both VOC and CO/CO2 gas leakages and utilizes EyeCGas cameras exclusively for this purpose.
Many industries involve the use of gases as a part of their operations. This brings in a number of safety issues. A gas leak can cause health safety and environmental issues. Therefore, it is essential to find and repair leaks quickly and effectively. Doing so allows you to avoid regulatory fines and reduce product loss.
Gas leak detection technology has evolved over the years. Over the last decade several new technologies have been introduced to help detect gas. One of the more major developments have been optical gas imaging.
This technology scans across a scene and measure spectral changes in an image. This gives an indication of presence of targeted gases. These images help identify the source of the gas and allow us to see “invisible” gases.
EyeCGas cameras are produced by OPGAL and are ATEX certified which make them an excellent choice for the petrochemical industry both on and offshore.
The camera will detect even the smallest volatile leakage long before they evolve into a leakage which in turn will lead to shut-down and immediate repairs.
Upon completion of a survey findings will have been visually tagged and a spreadsheet containing an overview of the findings, areas, tags, digital pictures and videos will be handed over to the client.
IR Vision has since the very start proudly performed gas leak surveys for amongst others: Statoil, Norske Shell, ConocoPhillips, AkerBP, ExxonMobil/Point Resources, Repsol, Apache and ENI.
Lastly, IR Vision is the only authorized dealer of VOC and CO/CO2 cameras in Norway for gas leak detection. Therefor any further inquiries pertaining to the details and specifications of these cameras can be directed through contact by phone or mail.
